Tomar reviews the work of the energy management company

Provide electrical power to consumers as needed. If it becomes absolutely necessary and there is an interruption in the power supply in the feeder line, maintenance work in that feeder line on that day should be avoided. Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar gave the instructions during a review of the power supply and works of the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company. He was informed during the meeting that there is 23% more electricity demand this year compared to last year.

MD Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Vivek Porwal informed that power availability will increase in the next 15 days. This will reduce the gap between electricity demand and supply.

Energy Minister Tomar said there should be uniformity in rules across all companies. This will bring convenience to consumers. He ordered to take the necessary measures in this regard at the earliest. Tomar did a thorough review of power availability and power outages.

He ordered to prepare an action plan for the availability and supply of electricity for the next Rabi season and the coming year.

Shri Tomar also inquired about the power purchase and sale contract by MP Power Management Company over the past two years. He also discussed the new configuration of electricity companies. Meanwhile, officers from Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company were present.
