NTDC to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Eid : NTDC

LAHORE, (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News – July 8, 2022): The Managing Director (MD) of the National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC), Engineer Dr. Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan said on Friday that the NTDC will ensure power supply uninterrupted to distribution companies during Eid-ul-Azha.

He said this, while chairing his first meeting after taking charge here at WAPDA House.

MD Dr. Rana Abdul said NTDC teams would remain vigilant at the National Power Control Center (NPCC) and all network stations across the country, adding that to this end surprise visits would also be made by management.

It was pertinent to mention here that as per government notification from Ministry of Energy (Energy Division) of Pakistan, Dr. Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan has taken over as Acting MD NTDC on an agreement provisional on July 07, 2022.

He has served over 30 years of extensive experience in the energy sector.

He has served in the energy sector, including NTDC, in key roles such as Deputy Managing Director (AD&M), GM (Project Delivery/GSC) North, GM (Technical), GM (TSG) and GM Asset Management North.

He was also CEO of FESCO, CEO of LESCO, COO of Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park and CEO of AEDB.
