Let’s be honest, power supplies aren’t really interesting most of the time. As long as they work and aren’t noisy, we usually use them and forget about them. Well the new Harley Benton PowerPlant ISO-3AC SAG Modular the power supply isn’t exactly pretty, but it does give gamers a very handy feature: the ability to imitate a dead battery. It’s perfect for creating this ‘subsidence’ on which some pedals really flourish.
Isolated outputs
You get four individually isolated outputs. Each output offers the ability to dial in the amount of sag you need to make your pedals sound even better. All four outputs are noise- and hum-free, thanks to filtered and short-circuit protected operation. Additionally, you get a 12 volt connection which can be used to conventionally power a 12 volt foot pedal or an additional DC input power supply unit.

Fuzz & Distortion
A lot of down and Distortion the pedals start sounding really good just as their batteries run out, and that sag is simulated with the power supply. Just adjust the jars of garnish at the top of each output to dial in the amount of sag you need. Outputs one and two provide 9 volt of power, which can be lowered to 6.5 Where 4 volt. Outputs three and four provide 18 volt that the potentiometers can drop in voltage up to 15, 12, 9 and 6 volt.
