FG launches energy platform to improve electricity supply

The federal government has launched a new central data management system portal that will improve the nation’s power supply.

The new version is known as the Nigerian Sustainable Energy Platform SE4ALL Version 3.0. is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and co-founded by the European Union.

At the launch, Energy Minister Abubakar Aliyu said the project explained that the new platform would help utility operators, policy makers as well as electrification stakeholders in planning and implementation. implementation of power supply projects.

Mr. Aliyu mentioned that the progress registered by the Nigerian electricity support program, NESP, necessitated the need to launch an emergency for all platforms, version 3.0.

SE4ALL Nigeria Focal Point, Faruk Yusuf, expressed the need for the power sector to lead the digitalization of critical social amenities such as schools and hospitals to avail of abundant power supply.
