ADATA Unveils XPG CYBERCORE Modular Power Supply

Power supplies are the unsung heroes of computers. They’re not sexy and don’t really improve performance, but make no mistake – having a quality PSU is paramount. A poor quality power supply can lead to system instability, and worse, fires. Yes, it is never worth choosing a power supply unit from an unknown manufacturer.
That said, today respected manufacturer ADATA unveils what looks to be a very nice power supply unit under its popular gaming brand XPG (XTREME PERFORMANCE GEAR). Called “CYBERCORE”, this power supply comes in two power options: 1000W and 1300W. It is also modular, which means that the wires are removable, which is ideal for cable management.

“XPG CYBERCORE is the latest collaboration between XPG and Nidec. It features an XPG VENTO PRO 120 PWM fan powered by Nidec for unparalleled cooling efficiency. Nidec fans feature a curved design that provides maximum efficiency. Fans start at spin in zero RPM low load mode down to approximately 30% electrical load to initiate fan rotation. compact at just 160mm in length, one of the smallest in the Platinum category,” says ADATA.
